PERDA No16 - 2002 KAB KEP MENTAWAI is legislation passed by the Mentawai Parliament and it has the status of a Regional Law.

Chapter IV, Article 7, Clause 3 specifies a limit of 5 Marine Tour companies in the Mentawai Islands.

Chapter IV, Article 8 c. states that each company must operate at least 2 and no more that 6 live-aboard boats (foreign or local)  with a combined capacity of 50 persons.
